Refund Policy
Refund Policy Overview
When more than 72 hours remain before an event, your payment method is only used for holding your spot. Milna will only accept payments when less than 72 hours remain and we have a confirmed spot for you to participate. One payment can be used towards one event.
A full refund will be provided:

If you cancel your reservation at least 72 hours before the event.

If the event is cancelled or postponed, for any reason, even if it’s less than 72 hours before the event.

If you attend the event, and none of your matches show up

If Milna doesn’t have a spot available for you. This can happen if we are overbooked, or per our pre-event matching
Pre-event Matching
48 hours before the event, our algorithm will ensure there's at least one registrant who matches your preferences, and you match their preferences. If we don't have a match for you, we refund your spot.
This matching is based on:

Age, marital status
-
Grew up country
-
Religion, diet, drink, smoke

Caste, education level
The following additional preferences are NOT currently supported by our algorithm:

Career, horoscopes

Physical appearance, personality traits, and other unique circumstances or special requests
If you've specified any of these additional preferences, we may try to find these matches for you manually or contact you to discuss how you'd like to proceed.
With pre-event matching, we only consider individuals that have a payment deposit on file. We'll accept a payment, but we cannot guarantee they would show up (such as due to illness). Please note we do not verify the accuracy of the information submitted to us, except checking for photo ID at the event.
Pre-event matching of past participants
If you participated in a previous event, we will only match you with people who did not attend the same Milna event(s) as you. This ensures you get to meet new people when you come to a new event. If you or the potential match withdraws consent of data storage after the event, we won't be able to support this feature for you. Note, it's possible the people who attend may be people you've interacted with outside of a Milna event (this is beyond our control at this time, but we may develop features in the future to resolve that).
Non-refundable

If we’ve confirmed your spot within 72 hours of the event and you don’t show up at the event, there is no refund. If you attend the event, there’s also no refund.

If less than 72 hours remain before the event and you give us notice, we may attempt to find another participant and provide a partial refund at our discretion.
Payment via Credit Card
Credit cards are used for holding the spot (similar to holding for a hotel reservation), and then charged once your spot is confirmed. If we don't confirm your spot, your credit card will not be charged.
Discounts and Promo Codes
Promo codes are valid for one event only and may be discontinued without notice. Future events or services may or may not support promo codes. If there's a discrepancy between the advertisement material and the discount amount shown on the payment page, the payment page takes precedence (as it's possible for advertisements to be edited and forwarded). In the case of a discrepancy or a promo code being discontinued, refunds will not be issued.
Price Adjustments
We may increase prices periodically without notice. Customers are encouraged to submit their credit card earlier to secure a potentially lower price. Registration form submission date does not influence the price paid.
If the price increases and you want to update your credit card information, you are responsible for paying the updated price. If you cancel and then make a new credit card reservation, the updated price of the latest submission applies. A refund for the price difference will not be issued.
Ticket Types
We currently support two ticket types: male and female. Upon request and demand, we may offer additional ticket types at our discretion.
We offer tickets to women at lower prices to encourage participation, gender ratio balancing, and more matches for everyone.
