We don't accept payments unless we have at least one suitable match for you to meet (and we anticipate most participants to have at least 3). When you register, you’ll provide information about yourself and your partner preferences. Our software will perform matching based on:
-
Age, language(s), marital status
-
Grew up country
-
Religion, diet, drink, smoke
-
Caste, education
48 hours before the event, our algorithm ensures you have a 2-way match with at least one other registrant. If yes, we accept your payment. If no, we refund your ticket. For full details, see our Refund Policy.
-
All participants can bring one guest (18+, who’s not a participant), free of charge. This could be a friend, parent, relative, sibling, etc. If the guest wishes to participate, they need to register separately prior to the event and have their spot confirmed. Guests may enjoy snacks, socialize, and/or play games with other guests. We may ask guests to RSVP at a later time.
We'll only confirm your ticket if people matching your preferences also sign up. Only people with confirmed tickets are invited to attend.
At other events, people may pay, travel, and show up to find nobody else who matches their preferences. With our pre-event matching and Refund Policy, we want to increase your confidence in signing up. If you're selected, it's an event you can look forward to!
One similarity is you’ll get to meet new people in-person.
Other events (such as typical Matrimonial Events or Speed Dating) usually have these shortcomings:
-
Unknown whether people matching your preferences have signed up
-
Non-refundable tickets
-
Awkward intros (introduce yourself on stage, or answer "tell me about yourself" 15 times)
We've solved these problems with our pre-event matching software and event format, so that we deliver experiences that are fun, meaningful, and memorable.
